Sonic Fireworks are the 2022 British Firework Champions
Sonic Fireworks were crowned the 2022 British Firework Champions after a fiercely fought competition between six firework companies over two days on 17th & 18th August.
The public of Plymouth were treated to some fantastic displays before Sonic were declared the winners by the judges. The Lord Mayor of Plymouth presented the trophy.
In second place were Europla Displays with Fully Fused Fireworks coming in third. In a very close battle, Wizard Fireworks finished just ahead of Phoenix Fireworks with Nemisis Pyrotechnics completing the line-up.
All six teams had to battle with the elements at times during set-up but Sonic eventually came out on top.
As a tribute to Her Majesty The Queen, each team was asked to include a Platinum Jubilee sequence into their displays for a special cash prize, and this was also won by Sonic.
